Queensland National Day of Prayer – Queensland Parliamentary Annexe – Saturday 30 January 2016 10am to 4pm

The next National Day of Prayer & Fasting will be on Sunday 7 February 2016 in Canberra Parliament House. The theme will be JESUS.

Registrations are now open for the main event in Canberra, so please register.

The Brisbane Pre-event will be held a week earlier than the Canberra event on Saturday 30 January 2016. It will once again be held in the Queensland Parliamentary Annexe from 10 am – 4 pm. This will then be the 5th National Day of Prayer Event held in the Queensland Parliamentary Annexe in Alice St, Brisbane City.

Registrations are now also open  for the Queensland Event at the Parliamentary Annexe so we would appreciate if you would register now using Event Brite.   https://qdopf2016.eventbrite.com.au  (Note that you must be registered a week before the event due to Parliament House security protocol, but we would appreciate your early registration so that we can plan and book the right size room.)

We hope to have even greater representation from all over Queensland next year. You might even want to plan your holidays in order to join us, or organise a pre-event wherever you are.

Please add both the  Canberra Main Event (Sunday 7 February 2016 ) and the Queensland Pre-Event (Saturday 30 January 2016) to your calendar, diary or electronic calendar(Outlook or Google calendar etc) and  also your churches calendar and invite your church to be involved.

Bible Reading Marathon in Brisbane City

We will also be running the Brisbane Bible Reading Marathon again starting right after the QLD Day of Prayer and Fasting (30 January 2016). We will walk as a group from the Parliamentary Annexe when the prayer meeting finishes around to the nearby Speakers Corner.  The Bible Reading Marathon will go non-stop for about 72 hours, from the Jan 30th 4pm (Genesis 1) to  Feb 2nd approximately 6pm (Revelations 22). God is using these events to bring peace to our city. Last year there were so many testimonies of transformed lives.

If you would like to run a Bible Reading Marathon in your local area, please let us know. Others were also started at various places across the nation last year.
